Latest Booster Information

  • We have received both new Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 boosters.
  • Appointments are now available to receive boosters. Walk-ins accepted.
  • The CDC recommends that everyone age 5 and older get the updated booster, if it has been at least 2 months since your last booster or final primary dose.
  • Updated booster dose is a bivalent formula that both boosts immunity against the original coronavirus strain and also protects against the new Omicron variants that account for most of the current cases.

Vaccine Recommendations

  • CDC recommends that everyone age 5 and older stay up-to-date on vaccinations by getting an updated booster dose at least 2 months after their last COVID-19 shot (either since their last booster dose, or since completing their primary series).
  • On June 18, the CDC announced its recommendation that children age 6 months and older should get a Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
  • FDA authorized a 2nd booster dose of either the Pfizer or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for individuals 50 years and older and certain immunocompromised individuals. Learn more.

When the COVID-19 community level is low

  • Stay up to date with the latest COVID-19 vaccine information!
  • Get tested if you have symptoms.
  • People may choose to mask at any time.
  • If you have symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19, you should wear a mask.
  • Get your vaccines or boosters at our building: 225 W. Waco Drive in Waco 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. *Walk-ins welcome.
