WIC
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program for working and nonworking families who meet income, residency and health screening guidelines. Clinics provide nutrition counseling, food benefits for grocery stores, breast-feeding education and nutrition education classes.
WIC services are free to those who are eligible which include:
- Pregnant women
- Women who are breastfeeding a baby under one year of age
- Women who have had a baby in the past six months
- Parents, stepparents, guardians, and foster parents of infants and children under five can apply for their children
If you have a job or if you have private health insurance, you can still apply for WIC.
Attention WIC participants! The WIC bus is now out-of-service, so please check your appointment reminder for your appointment location or call 254-750-5474. Walk-ins are welcome, but clients with appointments are given priority.

Please call (254)750-5474 or text (254)265-7817 to make an appointment. Clients may call to make an appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The clinic is open one Saturday a month.
