In cooperation with federal and state grants, HIV Case Management provides prevention and education programs, in addition to direct client services offered to residents of Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan Counties living with HIV or AIDS. Our experienced Case Managers work hard to link eligible clients to services including:
- early intervention
- dental assistance
- transportation assistance
- nutritional assistance
- emergency rental and utility assistance
- prescription cost assistance
Some services are fully covered by grant funding. Other services require a financial contribution from the client based on income and ability to pay. Financial assistance programs are available for those who qualify.
Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA):
The HOPWA program provides housing assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS. In order to qualify for this program, you must have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, live in Bosque, Fall, Freestone, Hill, Limestone or McLennan County and meet certain income standards. Any of our experienced HIV Case Managers can determine if you meet the income eligibility standards for the program. HOPWA services are available to all persons who qualify, regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, familial status, or handicap.
