The City is transitioning from EnerGov to MaintStar. Please review the important dates below, as there will be temporary changes to application submissions, payments, and inspection requests. Plan review and inspection response times may be delayed during this transition, but we will work diligently to serve everyone as quickly and effectively as possible.
Tuesday, September 15th at 4:00 p.m.: EnerGov will shut off.
No new applications or inspection requests can be submitted through EnerGov after 4:00 p.m.
September 16-20: No payments or applications will be accepted.
Application submissions, requests for inspection, and online and in-person payments will be unavailable during this transition.
Emergency Inspections
Inspection services will be limited to emergency occupied-and-down situations only. An emergency occupied-and-down request includes situations where an occupied structure has lost power due to unsafe or failed electrical service equipment, such as storm-damaged electrical equipment or damaged service equipment that has failed.
If you have an emergency occupied-and-down request, please call (254) 750-5612.
Scheduled service replacements, service upgrades, or other planned electrical work requiring a power release will not be considered an occupied-and-down emergency and will not be processed during the downtime.
Monday, September 21: MaintStar goes live!
Customers will be able to:
- Create a MaintStar account
- Submit applications
- Request inspections
- Access active applications and permits
September 21-25: Permit Office will be closed to in-person services.
Payments cannot be accepted in person during this week. Staff will be available to assist customers with setting up their MaintStar accounts.
