Our military men and women didn’t face their mission alone while serving their country and should not have to do it alone while adjusting to civilian life. Collaborations with local, state, and national partners are critical to our success. So, how do we do it? The McLennan County Veteran Services Office provides information on services available to McLennan County Veterans.
The organization helps McLennan County veterans and their dependents determine eligibility for state and federal benefits. It assists with applications for pensions, disability compensation, loans, grants, burial allowances, and scholarships. The organization advocates on veterans' issues, visits families to provide support, and collaborates with local, state, and federal agencies for additional assistance.

The Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition is a nonprofit organization which provides support to homeless individuals and families. The HOTHC was formed to promote, support, and develop rehabilitation services, resources, and treatment programs for persons who are homeless in the Heart of Texas Region.

Texas Veterans Network (TVN) is a statewide collaborative resource hub powered by Combined Arms that connects veterans, service members, military families, and caregivers in Texas with community‑based support services. The network brings together hundreds of nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and educational partners into one unified system, making it easier to access help for employment, housing, healthcare, benefits, and more through a centralized, data‑driven platform.
The Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) is a state agency dedicated to helping Texas veterans, service members, their families, and survivors access the benefits, services, and support they’ve earned. TVC assists with federal and state benefit claims, offers employment and education resources, administers grants for veteran support programs, and connects veterans to local services across the state. The commission also provides specialized programs for mental health, peer support, and justice-involved veterans to improve quality of life and community reintegration.
