Cameron Park Zoo

Cameron Park Zoo

A 52-acre zoo located in beautiful Cameron Park in the City of Waco, next to the Brazos River.

Cameron Park Zoo was originally established in 1955 as the Central Texas Zoological Park. The zoo features a diverse collection that includes over 1,731 animals, representing 300 species from around the world.

The Cameron Park Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA). The zoo features a retail store and cafe, and has many events throughout the year!

Cottonwood Creek Golf Course

Cottonwood Creek Golf

This course is ranked as one of the top municipal golf courses in Texas.

Conveniently located off I-35, Cottonwood Creek Golf Course is a quality golf destination at an affordable cost. The 18-hole, Par 72 course winds through rolling plains and features pristine greens and landscaping. The golf course also features a Pro Shop with many brands and necessities for the avid golfer.

Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum

Texas Ranger

This is the state-designated official historical center of the Texas Rangers law enforcement agency.

The facilities consist of the Homer Garrison, Jr. museum gallery, the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, the Texas Ranger Research Center and the Headquarters of Texas Rangers Company "F".

The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum also features a gift shop for souvenirs when you come visit! The City of Waco serves as the appointed trustee on behalf of the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Legislature.

Waco Mammoth National Monument

Waco Mammoth Site

Sitting on more than 100 acres of wooded parkland along the Bosque River and surrounded by oak, mesquite and cedar trees, the Waco Mammoth National Monument offers an escape from the modern world and provides a glimpse into the lives of Columbian mammoths.

The Mammoth Site also has a retail store for souvenirs and schedules educational tours and field trips by request.
