Brazos River Corridor District – Proposed Amendment to the Overlay Consider an ordinance amendment to Chapter 28 Zoning of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Waco, Texas for the purpose of amending the boundaries of the Brazos River Corridor District overlay, and making changes related to lighting in residential areas, lot coverage, and landscape requirements. The proposed ordinance amendments are at the request of the Cameron Park Neighborhood Association.

Adopted 2022 Tax Rate City of Waco ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 2.77 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $-21.15.
