Crime Free Programs

The Crime Free Programs are innovative, police agency based crime prevention solutions designed to help keep illegal activity off rental property, hotel-motel businesses and other communities. The Crime Free Programs were successfully developed, starting in 1992, by Timothy L. Zehring. This was while he was employed at the Mesa Arizona Police Department. The International Crime Free Programs have since spread out to more than 3,000 cities internationally. The Waco Police Department is proud to provide the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program and the Crime Free Hotel-Motel Program.

These programs are straightforward, honest, and solution-oriented, designed to be both easy to implement and effective in crime reduction.

The Crime Free Programs consist of three-phases that are completed under the supervision of the Waco Police Department Support, Abatement, Forfeiture, and Enforcement Unit (S.A.F.E).
