McLennan County Database

The McLennan County Database is an interactive database that brings together a wide range of community health data across multiple topic areas, all in one place.

What you're looking at: The dashboard is organized around a list of clickable health indicators. Each one has a colored dot next to it. When you click an indicator, everything on the dashboard updates to show data for that measure — the summary cards, the trend chart, and the description.

Each section consists of:

  • Metric Cards: Shows the most recent value for the selected indicator, a trend arrow (up/down/flat), and the percent change compared to the previous year.
  • Description Box: Tells you how the measure is reported — whether it's a count, a percentage, a rate per 1,000 people, or an average.
  • Trend Chart: A line chart showing how the indicator has changed over time, with filters to narrow by demographic group.
  • Context Section: Provides background information on the broader health topic and includes links to additional resources for deeper insights.
  • Table: Presents the underlying data in a structured, easy-to-read format.
