Free Game Day Transportation

In collaboration with Baylor University, Waco Transit System is proud to provide fans with a seamless and cost-free transportation option for home football and basketball games. Whether you're cheering for the Bears or supporting the visiting team, our game day shuttles offer an easy and convenient way to get to the action. Skip the parking hassle, enjoy the ride, and join fellow fans for an exciting game day experience in Waco.

Football Shuttle - "The Tailgater"

Picks up in Downtown Waco at:

• 3rd Street & Austin Avenue
• Shuttles start running 3 hours before kickoff and continue for one hour after the game
• Shuttles run before, during, and after the game
• All shuttles are ADA accessible
• There is plenty of free parking in and around downtown Waco, near the shuttle pick-up area (City Hall and Heritage Square parking lots).

Picks up at McLane Stadium at:

• On the MLK side of the street directly in front of stadium.
• Shuttles run before, during, and after the game.
• All shuttles are ADA accessible.
• You will see Transit buses (green) when you exit and walk towards MLK.

ADA information:

• A separate ADA shuttle service, for the elderly and those with disabilities, is also available at the Baylor Research Initiative Collaborative, located at 100 Research Parkway.
• Shuttles start running 4 hours before kickoff and continue for one hour after the game.
• Shuttles run before, during, and after the game.
• Shuttles drop off at the front of McLane stadium.
• Those who wish to use this service should contact the Baylor Ticket Office at (254) 710-1000 for additional details and/or requirements. Valid ADA credentials are required, and ADA parking is available for $25.00. 

Basketball Shuttle to Foster Pavilion

Picks up all spectators from the Ferrell Center:

• At the drop-off circle near the marquee on S. University Parks Drive
• Shuttles start running 2 hours before tip-off
• Continues for one hour after the game
• Shuttles run before, during, and after the game
• All shuttles are ADA accessible.

Shopping & Connecting Routes

Need to travel beyond the Baylor shuttle service? Route 9 provides convenient access to shopping, dining, and connections to additional Waco Transit routes throughout the city.

Please note: Route 9 is part of Waco Transit’s regular fixed-route system and standard fares apply until August 20, 2026 when Baylor Students can ride for free.
