Book rides at least 24 hours in advance (up to 2 weeks ahead) to schedule your rural transit trip. Same-day trips are available on a limited basis for $5 one-way.

Destinations

Travel anywhere in McLennan County or adjacent counties, as long as one stop begins or ends at a rural address.

How to book a ride

  • Waco Transit System App: Passengers can easily schedule their Evening Link rides through the Waco Transit System App. The app allows users to book rides, track their vehicle's location in real-time, and manage their payments seamlessly.  Apple Store  Google Play
  • Book & Manage Rides: A web browser version of the app.
  • Call Center: Passengers can also book their Evening Link rides by calling Waco Transit System's call center at (254) 750-1623. A customer service representative will assist passengers in booking their ride over the phone.

Fixed Commuter Routes

The following county routes connect rural communities to the City of Waco, providing convenient access to jobs, schools, healthcare, shopping, and other essential services. Routes operate Monday through Saturday with one morning trip and one afternoon trip each day. All routes use a flag-stop system, allowing riders to board anywhere along the route.
