Heritage Square

Heritage Square is located in the heart of downtown, in front of City Hall. This park consists of a water feature and small garden to honor historic Wacoans. Attached to this park is a public parking lot that is home to many events such as Waco Wonderland. Heritage Square is also available for festival rentals.

Park Rules

Park hours are 6 a.m. to midnight

  • Pets must remain leashed, and please clean up after your pets
  • Do not disturb, damage or remove wildlife, trees, plants or property within the park

Prohibited within the park:

  • Parking or driving on the grass
  • Alcohol and drugs
  • Discharge of firearms, including paintball guns or air rifles
  • Overnight parking or camping
  • Sales activity or solicitation of funds
  • Littering or dumping
  • Damage to any property
  • Loud speakers or amplified sound
  • Open fires, except in designated grills or fire pits
  • The disruption or prevention of orderly conduct
