The class rotates through each skill to ensure hands-on practice, with a fun jump session at the end to reinforce.
  • Level 3: Beginner freestyle, backstroke, and dives. At this level, swimmers focus on refining freestyle with side breathing, learning backstroke technique, and practicing kneeling dives. The class emphasizes proper arm and breathing technique for freestyle, streamlined backstroke kicks, and safe diving form. Swimmers will work on swimming 3-5 yards unassisted in freestyle and backstroke, and performing kneeling dives for pool entries. Safety and technique are key as swimmers build confidence in the water.
  • Level 4: Freestyle, backstroke, and dives. Level 4 builds on freestyle and backstroke skills, focusing on swimming 25 yards unassisted in both strokes. Swimmers will improve their technique with a streamlined kick, proper arm positioning, and side breathing in freestyle, as well as mastering backstroke form. Dives are introduced with a focus on shallow entry and backstroke push-offs. Swimmers practice standing dives and refine their swimming endurance and technique to prepare for advanced skills.
