Ironman 70.3 Waco Traffic Impact Published on September 27, 2025 The annual Ironman 70.3 Waco event is set to return on Sunday, Oct. 5th. The event, which will attract approximately 7,500 athletes and spectators and will be headquartered at Indian Spring Park. This is the seventh time the Waco has hosted the Ironman event. Citizen's Fire Academy Registration Published on August 14, 2025 The application for the 2025 class is now closed. The Waco Fire Department is excited to host its fifth annual Citizen's Fire Academy! McLennan County residents will learn about being a firefighter through classroom instructions and hands-on demonstrations.
