The City of Waco recognized 20 graduates of the 2026 Waco City Academy during the Waco City Council meeting on June 2, 2026.

Over 10 sessions, participants gained a behind-the-scenes look at city government, learning how Waco plans for the future, delivers essential services, and works every day to meet the needs of our growing community. From maintaining streets and delivering water services to operating libraries and managing solid waste, participants explored the many departments and professionals that help keep Waco running.
