City of Waco Offices Closed for Labor Day

City of Waco offices will be closed on Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. Details on closures for other City of Waco facilities, services, and contracted partners are included below.

Solid Waste

Residents with a Monday trash collection day will have their gray waste carts and green yard waste carts collected later on Wednesday, September 9. Cobbs Recycling Center and the landfill will also be closed on Monday, September 7.

Paying Your Utility Bill

The MyWaco Central call center and drive-thru (425 Franklin Ave.) will be closed on Monday, September 7. City of Waco utility customers can pay their bill 24/7 by phone at (254) 299-2489 or online at mywacoaccount.com.

Pet Circle Regional Animal Shelter

• The Adoption Center is open noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, September 7.
• Intake is closed.

Other Departments

The following facilities are closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day:

• Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center 
• All Parks & Recreation Community Centers
• Waco-McLennan Public Health
• Lake Waco Wetlands Research & Education Center
• Waco Transit System
• Waco-McLennan County Libraries are closed Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7
