Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) develops a long-range plan every five years. The long-range plan, spanning over 25 years, anticipates future transportation needs. The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) facilitates access to federal funds and outlines objectives, visions, growth projections, planning strategies, and regional transport initiatives.
