City of Waco Offices Closed for Spring Holiday

City of Waco offices will be closed on Friday, April 3 for the spring holiday. Details on closures for other City of Waco services and contracted partners are included below.

Solid Waste

• Residents with a Friday, April 3 trash pickup day will have their gray waste carts and blue recycling carts collected earlier on Wednesday, April 1.
• The landfill will remain open on Friday, April 3.
• Cobbs Recycling Center will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.

Paying Your Utility Bill

The MyWaco Central call center and drive-thru (425 Franklin Ave.) will be closed on Friday, April 3. City of Waco utility customers can pay their bill 24/7 by phone at (254) 299-2489 or online at mywacoaccount.com.

Other Departments

The following facilities will have closures during the spring holiday weekend:

• Pet Circle Regional Animal Center will remain open on Friday, April 3 for adoptions. Normal operations resume on Saturday, April 4. The shelter will be closed on Sunday, April 5.
• Waco-McLennan Public Health will be closed Friday, April 3.
• Dewey, Doris Miller, and South Waco Community Centers will be closed Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
• Waco-McLennan County Library branches will be closed Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 5.
• Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum will be closed on Sunday, April 5.

The following facilities will maintain their normal hours of operation during the spring holiday weekend:

• Cameron Park Zoo
• Cottonwood Creek Golf Course
• Waco Mammoth National Monument
• Waco Welcome Center
• Waco Transit System
