Library Card Sign Up & Fine Forgiveness Month a Huge Success!

September’s Library Card Sign-Up Month and Fine Forgiveness Month at the Waco-McLennan County Library was a huge success, welcoming hundreds of new patrons and saving the community thousands of dollars.

Last month, we welcomed 840 new borrowers and helped our community save $15,760 through overdue, lost book, and replacement card forgiveness. More people are enjoying library services with ease!  

Year-Long Fun

Join us all year long for fun programs for all ages and the latest popular reads. A Waco-McLennan County Library card gives access to:

• Books, audiobooks, and eBooks for all ages
• Digital streaming of movies, music, and TV
• Online learning tools including test prep, language learning, and career support
• Free programs and events for children, teens, and adults
• Research and genealogy resources

Signing up is free and easy. Residents can begin the application online and then bring proof of identity and residency to any of the four branches.
