Bridge Lighting

Repairs and replacement of lighting along the I-35 frontage road bridges over the Brazos River near McLane Stadium are nearing completion! Testing of the lights will continue into October.

Over time, many of the existing fixtures stopped working due to weather exposure and the limited availability of replacement and repair parts.

The new light system is replacing outdated components with updated equipment to improve reliability and simplify future maintenance.
