Scrap Tire Collection Day

Join us for the annual scrap tire drop-off event! City of Waco Solid Waste Services is hosting Scrap Tire Collection Day from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 16 at 501 Schroeder Drive. All scrap tires will be recycled and not sent to the landfill.

BFF Mondays at Cameron Park Zoo

Every week, enjoy BFF Mondays at Cameron Park Zoo! BFF stands for "Bring Friends and Family" – if a guest purchases one full admission ticket, they will receive a 50% discount for two additional guests! The discount is for tickets bought at the gate only, and guests must enter the Zoo at the same time.

Discount is only for tickets bought at the gate. Proof of residency is required, so bring your Waco Water bill, electricity bill, or rental agreement.

Holiday Cheer Fire Engine

The Waco Fire Department is making plans to put the holiday fire engine back into action this year! Starting the weekend after Thanksgiving and running through the weekend before Christmas, Waco Fire is bringing the holiday cheer to your neighborhood!
