Solid Waste

a division of Public Works

Division Highlight

Each year the City of Waco hosts the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day to provide residents with a FREE service for disposal of items considered potentially hazardous. This event is for all residents that live within the city limits of Bellmead, Hewitt, Lacy Lakeview, Waco, or Woodway.

When disposed improperly, items like paint and household cleaners can affect our soil and waterways. By participating in the Household Hazardous Waste drop-off, residents are helping to keep the area clean, green and safe.

If you pre-register, bring your pre-registration receipt and have your number handy.

Pre-registration has ended. Please bring your utility bill and a photo ID.
