Garbage Service

Service

  • Dumpster container sizes in 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 cubic yards.
  • Dumpsters can be shared by two accounts, each billed separately.
  • Frequency of service is determined by customer needs.

Guidelines

  • All trash must fit inside dumpster. 
  • No garbage on top or around the dumpster will be collected.
  • Do not block dumpster enclosure. 
  • Break down boxes before placing in dumpster.
  • Do not force items into dumpster that do not fit. 

Unacceptable Items

  • Concrete, rocks and dirt
  • Refrigerators or other items containing Freon. 
  • Tires, hazardous materials or large amounts of liquid
  • Explosives or ammunition

Recycling Service

Service

  • Dumpsters or 95-gallon carts are available to commercial and nonprofit businesses for a monthly fee.
  • Recycling containers are provided to each account holder and cannot be shared.

  • Recyclables should fit inside the container. 
  • Items on top of or around the container will not be collected. 
  • Do not block container enclosure. 
  • Break down boxes before putting them into the container.

Roll-Off Services

Roll-Off Services

Solid Waste Department will provide roll-off container services to residents and commercial projects. Roll-off containers are larger, open top, rectangular containers for holding construction debris, brush and other larger items. Fees are based on sizing and frequency of services.

Rental Tips and Requirements

  • Release of Liability(PDF, 82KB) is required to create a work order.
  • Roll-Off trucks must have 50 feet of straight clear access to approach and engage the container
  • All container locations must have a minimum height clearance of 25 feet.
  • Roll-off containers cannot be placed on city streets or private yards.
  • Its the customers responsibility to provide an accessible location for the container.
  • Customers will assume responsibility for damage to the property or loss of the rental container(s).
