Station 14 was established following the City of Waco’s 1998 annexation of land along Highway 84 between Woodway and McGregor, creating a need for expanded fire protection services in West Waco. A site was selected on Speegleville Road, and Station 14 officially opened in February 2006 at 5401 Speegleville Road.
Today, Station 14 serves a large portion of West Waco, providing fire suppression, emergency response, and wildfire protection to one of the city’s most expansive service areas. The station is home to Engine 14 and Brush 14, helping protect residents, businesses, and the growing communities along the Highway 84 corridor.
