Do you have a high school student passionate about your community? Apply today for the Waco Youth Council! The City of Waco is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated teens to join the 2025-26 Waco Youth Council. This is more than a student program — it’s a chance to impact your community, build leadership skills, and represent your peers as ambassadors for the City. Applications are due by Friday, May 9. The Waco Youth Council serves as a Youth Advisory Board to the Waco City Council and consists of 17 to 25 members with at least one representative from each of the high schools in Waco.
Regular Youth Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The Youth Council also participates in other activities, meetings and community service projects in addition to their regular meeting schedule.
