City of Waco Announces New Waco Regional Airport Manager

The City of Waco is pleased to announce James C. Harris as the new Airport Manager of the Waco Regional Airport. With over two decades of distinguished service in the aviation industry, James brings expertise in airport operations, safety compliance, strategic planning, and customer service excellence.

James most recently served at Santa Fe Regional Airport, where he led initiatives that increased airport revenues and passenger traffic through innovative marketing and strategic development. His proven track record includes strengthening partnerships with airlines, the general aviation community, regulatory agencies, and the local community while maintaining a focus on security, efficiency, and traveler satisfaction.

“We are thrilled to welcome James Harris to the City of Waco team,” said Blu Kostelich, Assistant City Manager. “His leadership style, technical knowledge, and dedication to aviation make him the ideal person to guide Waco Regional Airport into its next chapter of progress and success.”

His career includes leadership roles at Clovis Regional Airport, Chennault International Airport, and Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. James is also a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served as an Aviation Operations Specialist.
