From May 16 through May 23, the City of Waco invites residents to celebrate National Public Works Week and recognize the employees who help keep Waco running every day. From maintaining streets and drainage systems to managing solid waste and utilities, Public Works professionals play a vital role in supporting the community’s health, safety and quality of life.

This year’s celebration features several opportunities for residents to learn more about Public Works services, interact with equipment and staff, safely dispose of hazardous materials and even explore career opportunities with the City of Waco.
