Please be advised that the City of Waco will begin a full roof replacement project on City Hall on Wednesday, May 28. The construction is expected to continue through the end of June, weather permitting.

The main public entrance on the west side of City Hall (facing Washington Ave.) will remain open and accessible throughout the duration of the project.

However, please be aware of the following parking adjustments.

  • A portion of the Franklin Ave. parking lot directly adjacent to the east side of City Hall will be closed to the public and used by the contractors for staging equipment and materials.
  • During the week of June 9, a portion of the parking lot on the west side of City Hall will be closed. However, the public entrance will remain open.
  • Additional parking for City Hall visitors is available at Heritage Square or on the street along Washington Ave. and N Third St.

Our goal is to minimize disruptions for guests during the construction period. Thank you for your patience while we work on the long-term integrity of our City Hall building.

If there are any additional updates that could affect visitors to City Hall, they will be communicated on social media and shared here.
