The City of Waco is in Stage 2 of our Drought Contingency Plan as of July 13, 2022 limiting water use.
Central Library, our largest location, is located close to downtown Waco. It houses our Local History collection, Interlibrary Loan department, and administrative offices.
East Waco Library is a neighborhood style branch with a separate computer room. It has ongoing displays of East Waco history, including bold window depictions of prominent African American Wacoans.
South Waco Library is a quiet light filled space perfect for studying and focused work periods. We hold outdoor movies and active programs for all ages in its large greenspace.
West Waco Library and Genealogy Center is centrally located and has dedicated rooms for genealogical research, quiet reading, and children's programs. It is also the drop off location for book donations.
