Eichelberger Bridge Update Published on September 13, 2024 The roadway on Eichelberger Bridge is now reopened to the public after damage from flooding earlier this spring. Public Works crews cleaned the roadway, re-established road ditches, and performed a structural analysis to make sure the bridge was safe for public use. Team Waco Brings Home Four Medals Published on August 02, 2024 Team Waco athletes made a triumphant showing at the Games of Texas State Championship Meet, returning home with two gold and two bronze medals. Citizen's Fire Academy Registration Published on August 01, 2024 The Waco Fire Department is excited to host its fourth annual Citizen's Fire Academy! McLennan County residents (18 years old and up) are invited to join us to learn about being a firefighter through classroom instructions and hands-on demonstrations. Bell's Hill Park Baseball Field is Getting a Makeover Published on July 17, 2024 The Bobcat Company has teamed up with their brand ambassador Chip Gaines and the National Recreation and Park Association for a $100,000 baseball field renovation.
