Da'Shack Farmers Market

Da’Shack Farmers Market is more than a place to shop for organic herbs, plants, and vegetables. It’s a community gathering place where visitors can learn how to grow their own food, connect with others, and find support for their mental well-being.

Dr. Donna Nickerson founded Da’Shack in 2017 to address food insecurity and the need for accessible fresh food and gardening education in East Waco. The farmers market is located at 925 Houston Street and is open seasonally from March through June.

In addition to providing plants and fresh produce, Da’Shack offers gardening and composting classes, educational workshops, and group tours.

As a partner of the SCRAP Collective, Da’Shack is committed to bringing people together through gardening, education, and oceans of goodwill.
