Brazos Park East 8am to 9am registration; 9am to 12pm walk event

FREE online registration until NOON on 9-16-16. After registration closes, you can register for FREE on 9-17-16 from 8am to 9am. The walk event is from 9am to 12pm. Please join us for a light 5k walk (apx. 3 miles) with kids activities, vendors, live music and a DJ. We are adding a few new items this year. Thank you all for your continued support! We hope to see you all there this year! Come meet new people who walk to support the cause, their friends and family, those who lost someone and those who are currently struggling! This is a pet friendly event (on a leash). See ya there! It is estimated that an attempt is made every minute, with close to one million people attempting suicide annually. Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S. among adults 18-65, the second leading cause of death among teens and young adults, and individuals ages 65 and older account for 16 percent of all suicide deaths.
