Walk for Life

This course will meet on MCC campus Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:20 to 6:45 pm beginning January 12th and ending April 28th.

This course introduces the fundamental concepts designed to get you started with an appropriate walking program and helps develop a habit of walking that suits your comfort level, goals and lifestyle. Topics covered include: benefits of fitness walking, clothing and equipment, safety, warm-up/cool-down, flexibility, fitness walking test, walking programs, walking techniques, weight loss, and mental benefits.
