The Waco Metropolitan Area Regional Sewerage System (WMARSS) is a wastewater treatment effort owned and operated by the City of Waco, serving the cities of Bellmead, Hewitt, Lacy Lakeview, Lorena, Robinson, Waco and Woodway.
Through use of centralized regional service facilities, WMARSS has helped to reduce the environmental impact of multiple wastewater treatment facilities and protect and preserve our natural resources.
In addition to a system of wastewater interceptors and lift stations, WMARSS maintains and operates two wastewater treatment facilities.
