Brook Oaks
Brook Oaks Neighborhood Association was named in honor of Brook Avenue Elementary School and for the numerous stately oak trees still growing within the neighborhood. Brook Oaks neighborhood has several amenities, including Cameron Park, Waco-McLennan County Public Health District, Waco Family Medicine, Dewey Park, two elementary schools and the 15th and 18th Street corridor of restaurants and businesses.
Purpose
Brook Oaks Neighborhood Association was formed to:
- United and organize the community,
- Promote and establish closer neighborhood ties, and
- Encourage and assist in the restoration, preservation, and improvement of the neighborhood.

Meeting Information
Brook Oaks Neighborhood Association meets at 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month at Dewey Community Center, 925 N 9th Street. All meetings are open to the public.

Membership Dues
Membership is open to anyone that lives, works or does business within the boundaries of the neighborhood. Current dues are:
- Residential Membership - $10 per year
- Senior Membership - $5 per year
- Commercial Membership - $15 per year
