New Downtown Connect Route!

Downtown Connect

Ride your FREE connection from downtown to campus.
(Note: The first day of service is August 21, 2017.)

The Downtown Connect is a 15-minute express shuttle connecting downtown Waco and Baylor University campus running Monday through Friday.  7:25 a.m. to 10:25 a.m., then 1:25 p.m. to 4:25 p.m.

This is a flag stop route, meaning you can catch the shuttle at any safe location along the route by making eye contact with the driver and waving your arm. Download the free Ride Systems app on your smartphone to track the shuttle in real-time. See service schedule for days of operation.

Thank you to our sponsors, City of Waco and Heritage Quarters for providing the Downtown Connect!

Take Our Survey & Help Improve Our Service!

Waco Transit System and the Waco Rapid Transit Corridor (RTC) team invite you to participate in an online survey to assist us in developing potential alternatives for rapid transit in Waco.  The RTC team conducted the project’s first public workshop at the Waco Multi-Purpose Center on June 15, 2017. At the workshop, we received feedback on potential routing alignments and station elements, as well as potential risks, concerns, and community impacts.

Now, we’d like to hear from you and your neighbors! It only takes 5 minutes to get your voice heard! Our team has converted the exercises from our workshop into an online survey, which will remain open to the public through Labor Day weekend. We encourage you to take a few minutes to let us know how you feel about transit and the opportunity to re-imagine how we provide service in the Greater Waco area.

Take the survey!
