Annette Jones
Annette is a graduate of Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and
from Baylor Law School. She began working in the City Attorney's
Office in November 1977. She has served as an Assistant City Attorney
since February 1978. She is licensed to practice in the U.S. District
Courts for the Western District of Texas and the United States Fifth
Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas,
Texas City Attorneys Association, and the McLennan County Bar Association.

John Patterson
John is a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor Law School.
He has been employed as an Assistant City Attorney since June 1983.
Prior to that time, he was employed as an Assistant City Attorney
for the City of Abilene. He is licensed to practice in the U.S.
District Courts for the Northern and Western District of Texas and
the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member
of the State Bar of Texas, Texas City Attorneys Association, and
the McLennan County Bar Association. He and his wife, Martina, have
three children.

Ken Johnson
Ken graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law. He has
been serving as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Waco since
October 1999. He has eighteen years municipal law experience, serving
as Municipal Court Presiding Judge in Lubbock for over six years;
City Attorney in Copperas Cove and Assistant City Attorney in Odessa.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas City Attorneys Association,
and the McLennan County Bar Association. He and his wife, Kim, have
four children.

Chris Taylor
Chris is a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor Law School.
He has been serving as an Assistant City Attorney since February
2001. Prior to working for the City of Waco, he worked for three
years as an Assistant District Attorney in Jourdanton, Texas, specializing
in felony drug prosecutions. He is a member of the State Bar of
Texas and the Texas City Attorneys Association. He and his wife,
Maria, are the proud parents of two children, Benjamin and Annie.

Nicole Webster
Nicole is a graduate of Texas Woman's University in Denton and
South Texas College of Law in Houston. She has been serving as an
Assistant City Attorney since February of 2003. Prior to working
for the City of Waco, she worked for the City of Arlington, West
Texas Legal Services in Fort Worth, and the Law Office of Reedy
M. Spigner in Plano. She is a member of TML, the State Bar of Texas,
and Phi Alpha Delta. Nicole has two beautiful children, Everett
and Gabrielle.

Julie Pandya
Julie is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the
University of Tulsa College of Law. She has been serving as an Assistant
City Attorney since December of 2006. Prior to working for the City
of Waco, she worked for the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office
and the Law Office of Rick Mitchell in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a
member of the State Bar of Texas and Phi Alpha Delta."

Candice Johnson
Candice has been employed in the legal profession for approximately
15 years. This is her second term to work for the City of Waco City
Attorney's office. During her first employment in the 1999-2000
year term, Candice's husband was transferred to the Midland/Odessa
area. Upon their move to Midland, she continued to work in the legal
profession as a legal secretary for one of the largest oil and gas
law firms in Texas. After approximately 2 years there, they received
a job relocation back to the Waco area where she became employed
as a legal secretary with the Naman, Howell, Smith & Lee law firm.
When a position became available at the City Attorney's office in
September 2003, Candice was eager to join the legal staff for the
City of Waco once again.
Candice and her husband, Tony, are happy to be back in the Waco
area where they can be closer to their daughter, Tosha, and their
first grandson, Blade.

Nita Mays
Nita is a Mass Communication graduate from Texas Wesleyan College.
She has been employed with the City Attorney's Office as a Legal
Secretary since February 1998. Prior to working with the City of
Waco, she worked for the Board of Pardons and Paroles for 10 years.
Nita is a native of Waco and has two children.
