Judge John Roberts |
John Roberts has served as Municipal Court Judge
for the City of Waco since 1990. Prior to his appointment, he was
an Assistant District Attorney for McLennan County.
As Municipal Court Judge, Roberts is responsible
for processing traffic tickets, deliberation of City of Waco Ordinances
and determining fines for persons found guilty of Class C misdemeanors.
Judge Roberts received a BBA from North Texas State
University in Denton and earned a law degree from the University
of Texas at Austin. He is the former director of the Texas Municipal
Courts Association and a member of the State Bar of Texas and the
McLennan County Bar Association. In June of 2000, he was recognized
by the Texas Municipal Courts Association as Judge of the Year.

If you received a ticket in the City of Waco,
you can view a video on the city's cable channel, WCCC-10, every
day at 6:45 am and 11:45 pm that describes all the various options
you have to take care of it.
At the time of entering a pleading or at a finding of Guilty, you are expected to pay the full amount of your Total Fine.
