Beef Fajitas
Ingredients
12 ounces Beef sirloin (select grade)
1 tablespoon Chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Ground oregano
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon Salt
to taste, Ground pepper
4 Soft shells (fat-free)
as desired, Onion
as desired, Green peppers
1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
as desired, Lettuce
as desired, Tomato
as desired, Salsa
Directions
- Slice beef into thin strips.
- Mix spices together (if using the 2 serving recipe only use half of the spice mixture).
- Rub spice mixture on beef.
- Thinly slice onions and green peppers in strips.
- Saute beef over medium heat.
- Saute onions and green peppers over medium heat.
- While beef, onions, green peppers are cooking, slice tomatoes and lettuce.
- Measure out cheese.
- Warm black bean dip in microwave.
- If desired, warm tortilla shells just before eating.
- Place 2-3 ounces of beef and 2 tablespoons of cheese in tortilla shell.
- Top with the following as desired: onion, green pepper, lettuce, tomato, and salsa.
- Roll tortilla.
