Report A Crime Forms

In an effort to make reporting of thefts more convenient for citizens and businesses, we are providing the following forms to be used in the following instances of theft. These forms should be used when a person or business is the victim of a theft, the suspect is no longer present and the value of the stolen property is less than $50. Effective July 1, 2009, the Waco Police Department will no longer dispatch officers to take reports meeting the above criteria.

This form should not be used in the following situations:

  • Property of any amount is taken from a person (ex. Purse snatching, pickpocket, etc.).
  • A weapon is used or if someone is threatened or injured during the incident.
  • The property is taken out of a building or home without the owner or manager’s consent.

In the situations listed above or if you are unsure how to report an offense, call the Waco Police Department at 254-750-7500.
