ORDINANCE AMENDMENT

Consider an ordinance amending Section 28-123 of Chapter 28-Zoning of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waco requiring the owner of a property to sign the application for a request for a rezoning or special permit and revisions to Sec. 28-151.

Annexation

One request for the annexation of a 30.68 acre tract of land located in the B. C. Wallace Survey, Abstract No. 915, the W. L. Hasper Survey, Abstract No. 1119, and the P.M. Maxwell Survey, Abstract No. 576, McLennan County, Texas, and being all of Lot 2, Block 12, Texas Central Addition, recorded in Volume 574, Page 690 of the Official Public Records of McLennan County, Texas, being further described as a portion of a called 589.843 acre tract, described as “Tract No 1” in a deed to the Waco Industrial Foundation, recorded in Volume 1338, Page 485 of the Deed Records of McLennan County, Texas, and being located at the intersection of W. Loop 340/State Hwy. 6 and Exchange Parkway, and further located within Waco’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction.  The proposed Comprehensive Plan land use designation is High Quality, Very Light Industrial and the proposed zoning is M-2 Light Industrial District.

Ordinance amendment to Chapter 28-Zoning of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waco for the purpose
of adding a definition for boarding house, determining the zoning districts in which boarding houses will be
permitted and determining parking requirements for boarding houses.
