Off the Range: Art and Architecture of the Trail

Off the Range: The Art and Architecture of the Trail provides a glimpse into the Wild West of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries through Frederic Remington’s bronze sculptures and architectural drawings of the Suspension Bridge in Waco. The exhibit offers a nostalgic look at a rapidly disappearing western front, which underwent dramatic transformation in the face of transcontinental transportation, Native American confinement to reservation land, immigration, and industrialization. This exhibit was made possible by a generous loan from the Texas Baptist Historical Collection in Waco, Texas.

The party ends at 8 for you, but your stuffed friend can spend the night having a special overnight library sleepover!
