Description:
Children can buddy up with a furry friend and read aloud from a favorite book! The dogs are great listeners and create a relaxed, comfortable, safe and non-judgmental place where children can improve their reading, gain self-confidence, learn to love to read and just have fun! Our furry listeners don’t judge or criticize when the young readers make mistakes, which can cause them to become frustrated and discouraged readers. This is a great reading motivator and self-esteem booster! Each reservation includes a 20 minute reading period and a short craft. Please call 717-1763 to make a reservation - limited space.

"Get a Clue" Children's Summer Reading Club

Description:
Ages 11 and under can sign up from May 29 - July 3 at the Waco-McLennan County Libraries and read to earn special prizes, including a book of your choice from our selected list! Reading can be done at home, on vacation, etc. for this free club.
PARENTS - This helps your child's reading skills continue during the school break and is also a great reading motivator for pre-readers!!

Saturday June 23 GSD Aftermath Party @ Indian Spring Park: This will be a full on day of Skate Rock Culture there will be Skating, Live Music, Live Graffiti Artist, BBQ and much more......
We will have all of the skate equipment set up for your skating delight Boxes, Quarters, Rails, and a couple of new obstacles for the comp.
The list of Bands is growing day by day there will be a wide variety of music played from Rockabilly Rock, garage punk maybe even some Zydeco jams.
