An Evening with Robert Griffin III benefiting Friends for Life
Time & Place:
Friends for Life’s most famous friend returns to Waco!
Friends for Life is excited to announce that Robert Griffin III will return to Waco on May 9, 2014 for an exciting fundraising event at the Ferrell Center benefiting Friends For Life.
Robert spent many hours volunteering at Friends for Life when he was a student at Baylor. He was so touched by the clients he worked with while volunteering, that he indicated early on his desire to stay connected with Friends for Life.
Friends for Life is a non-profit organization that helps the elderly and people with disabilities, live independently as long as possible, protects and cares for those who are unable to care for themselves and brings generations together to enrich lives. Friends for Life will celebrate 25 years of service to these special people in September of this year.
This event has been almost two years in the making delayed by Robert’s injury and rehab. The evening will start with a VIP sponsor event at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, followed by dinner and a program at the Ferrell Center. Robert is the keynote speaker and will also participate in a Q&A moderated by Baylor President, Judge Ken Starr.
Friends for Life encourages you to participate in this welcome home to Robert Griffin III and to celebrate the success of this local organization.
