Grant Seeking Basics for Nonprofit Organizations

Description: The Grants Resource Center at the West Waco Library & Genealogy Center, 5301 Bosque Blvd., Suite 275, in collaboration with the Waco Foundation, will host a free “Grant Seeking Basics” program for nonprofits on Saturday, October 27, from 10:00 am to NOON, at the West Waco Library’s Meeting Room.
Find out what your emerging nonprofit needs to have in place before seeking a grant. Find out what you should know about grant makers, how nonprofits are supported, and how to identify funding partners. Learn about the role Foundations can play in support raising and how to use the Foundation Center’s Online Resources to assist in identifying and contacting prospects for support.
The Grants Resource Center is a cooperating collection of the Foundation Center of New York.
