• The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present “For all of Our Lifetimes.” This book provides an overview and vision for the Brazos and Bosque River Corridor, strategies and survey results and also serves as a guideline for balanced enhancements and development along the two rivers.

• Waco's newest playground is now open at Cameron Park's Northern Gateway. Located across from Lover's Leap, the area features a custom playground, a large pavilion, mist tents, restooms and a baseball/softball backstop.

• Visit the new South Waco Community Center ---  The center recently received $2 million of renovations and features 30,000 square feet of recreational and community space. The center is located at 2815 Speight and is open seven days a week.
