Memorial and Honoree Gifts

Many people remember or recognize a relative, friend, teacher or someone special by contributing to the Friends of the Library Memorial Fund. Funds are used to purchase new books and materials for the library. Your donation is tax deductible and gifts are acknowledged to the honoree or their relatives.

The Friends of the Waco-McLennan County Library are happy to make their 990 Form available to the public.




 The mission of the Friends of the Waco-McLennan County Library is to improve the quality of life in our community through support of the Waco-McLennan County Library.




Projects and Support

During 2013 the Friends of the Waco-McLennan County Library contributed $86,187 that was used for a variety of materials, programs, promotional activities, staff development and supplies at all library locations.

These donations allowed the library to provide services above what was allowed in the budget funds from the city and county.
