Come to the first meeting of our monthly Minecraft Club!

For Ages 11 - 17

We have a Realms Account – so we will be building our own virtual world! We’ll plan projects, get started mining for resources and building structures, farms, and more! Play minigames, create challenges to overcome, and have loads of fun fighting off zombies, creepers, spiders, and more! Light Snacks Provided.


First Meeting: Saturday, Sept 20, Central Library Teen Zone (lower level) 2-4 pm


We encourage you to bring your own laptop or device and login with your own account if you have one – the Library will have a limited number of computers for participants to use.

Heart of Texas Comic Con

The Library will be hosting a table at ComicCon this fall - Sept 12, 13 and 14 at the HOT Extraco Events Center. We will be showing off our great Graphic Novel collection, and also giving away some cool goodies that were donated to the Library this summer. Find out more about the ComicCon.

 


 

Teen Top Ten Nominees for 2014

Each year, Teen book clubs and YA Librarians select a wide range of YA titles from the past year. YOU are encouraged to read as many as possible, and then vote for your favorites from August 15 until winners are announced in October.

Teen Anime Club

The Teen Anime Club meets the second Thursday of each month - September thru May, at the West Waco Library from 7:00 - 8:30.
