We accept the following items at no charge and without
proof of residency. Separating the different materials helps us
serve you better.
- Plastics #1 - #7, all colors (look for the recycling
code in the triangle on the bottom of the container).
- Glass, clear, brown and green.
- Metal, including steel or "tin" cans, aluminum cans,
and aluminum pie plates.
Please make sure items which have contained food
or drink have been rinsed clean.
- Paper, most types including magazines, phone books,
cardboard, junk mail, printer paper, envelopes with windows
and stapled paper.
- Computers and peripherals, except monitors
We accept the following items with proof of City
of Waco residency. You will need a driver's license and a current
City of Waco water bill, showing residential garbage service.
- Batteries and used motor oil
- Refrigerators must have a label or tag indicating
that the refrigerant has been removed by a certified technician.
We can remove the refrigerant for a $15.00 fee.
- Brush and bulky items can be brought to Cobbs by
City of Waco residents with a driver's license and water bill
up to two times a month with no charge. Trailers should be
no longer than 12 feet, and no taller than 4 feet, and count
as a second load. Please call for more information.
- Monitors and televisions can only be accepted from
City of Waco residents, with a driver's license and a current
water bill. There is a $5 charge for monitors and a $15 charge
for televisions. Large console- type televisions are $20.
We do not accept tires, construction/demolition
materials, or household hazardous waste at this time.
