Curbside Recycling Tips

The City of Waco Solid Waste Services offers once a week Curbside Paper Recycling using 35 gallon carts. Recycling material is collected on the same day as your garbage. Please observe the following guidelines for timely and safe service:

All of the recycling material needs to be inside the container with the lid closed.
Please place the recycling cart at the edge of the street on the night before your recycling day or by 7 am on your collection day.
If preferred, residents can place recycling material into their own container; all containers must have a lid and a decal to identify the container; decals are available at City Hall or at the Water Office.
Placing unacceptable or improperly prepared material into the recycling cart may contaminate truckloads or material.
All materials must be dry.

The Cobbs Convenience Center will also accept other recyclable items.
